RootDish was founded by Dr. Karén Avetisyan, the owner of Bee & Comb, a Carolina-based company focused on beekeeping education, sustainability, research, supplies, and pollinator partnerships. After years of working with farms and local food communities, Karén launched RootDish to make it easier for people to enjoy food that supports their local economy — from neighborhood restaurants to those that proudly use local ingredients.
